An Intro from Mom

On May 12, 2007 closed in the privacy of my bathroom I found out I was pregnant. The weight of knowledge that my life (and most likely my body) would never be the same was overwhelming. I was excited and scared all rolled into one (and still am!)

Thacker will do his best to share with you his adventures. Enjoy!

Bronchiolitis

Oh how I wish I was learning to spell supercalifragilistic expialidocious instead of bronchiolitis, but woe is me. I am sick. What a way to ring in my 3-month old birthday...no dancing baby picture this month. Here I am with requisite apple for scale sacked out in my cuddly fuzzy duck outfit.
I started with a little cough on Saturday, congestion set in on Monday and today I got the diagnosis - bronchiolitis - and my first antibiotic. Bummer.
Despite being sick, I am still growing, growing, growing. I am 24" TALL and 12 pounds 8 ounces HEFT. Mommy's biceps are getting stronger and stronger. Here is a picture of part of my heft - my cheeks!
In the middle of my being sick, Mom went out and bought me my very own rainforest bouncy seat that plays music and has a lighted "waterfall". Mrs. Leah (where I stay on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays while Mommy works) has an aquarium bouncy seat with music and lights that I LOVE. Mom thought she might be able to eat dinner without holding me if I had my own fancy seat. Check out my new rainforest friends and my mohawk. The mohawk is au naturel.
Senna and Sprout like my new rainforest friends too. They're the best furry sisters a little dude could have. Senna often curls up nearby while Mom is feeding me. Sprout will spare me from ever having to use a napkin or clean between my toes. She LOVES to lick my hands, toes, and cheeks. I can't help it if I taste like pure sugar 'cause I'm so sweet.
