The weekend before last, we had a big party and
a few drinks at the Palisades to celebrate Andres' graduation from Virginia Tech. Go HOKIES!!
This is Antonio (Andres' brother), Phillipe (Andres' and Antonio's dad and Tio [uncle] Pepe), and Andres.
After a great evening at the Palisades, we met up at the Simon's house where Antonio and Andres lived part of the time while they were students at Virginia Tech. We ate lots of yummy food, played cornhole, went for a walk around the pond,
did a little swinging, (from left to right: Suzanne, Matt, Peter, Antonio and me!)

After filling up on a yummy breakfast at Paul's house (a.k.a. "The Farm) on Sunday morning, we headed up to Mountain Lake
for a hike to Bald Knob
and a challenging game of checkers. Along our hike, we observed the native flora and fauna of the area.
Do you see the unicorn and rabbit? We tunneled through the deciduous forest, leaped crevasses,
and climbed to the top of Bald Knob.
We made it!
Thanks to all who came and stayed with us at "The Farm". Congratulations again to Andres! We hope to see you soon.
Meanwhile, I'm looking for my next adventure.
