When I get done enjoying the cooler weather and relaxing on my little backyard outcropping of thyme, I'll tell you what I've been up to the last couple of weeks. For now, I'm enjoying kickin' it and watching my toenails grow.

Through my posts, you will learn much about my life these days but to fill in a few details, I am working from my home office doing administrative and green building consulting and design work. I am an optimistic realist - eating my favorite foods (dark chocolate and cheese) while strength training and walking to stave off postmenopausal weight gain, keeping up the house, volunteering within my professional organizations, as a Virginia Master Naturalist and in support of my son's activities, and forever adding to and marking through my to do list. Any of it can be dropped for a good book, a nap, or hike with my son and husband.
