An Intro from Mom

On May 12, 2007 closed in the privacy of my bathroom I found out I was pregnant. The weight of knowledge that my life (and most likely my body) would never be the same was overwhelming. I was excited and scared all rolled into one (and still am!)

Thacker will do his best to share with you his adventures. Enjoy!

Backyard Chat

Sorry we didn't answer the front door. As you can see, we're out back - lounging in our second hand chairs and dining on our red folding table. Glad that you found me! Sit down and let's have a little chat.

On Friday, May 28 Mom, Senna, Sprout and I moved to the "new house". I put that in quotes because despite new to us, it's actually a cool little 1955 brick ranch in the Grandin Court neighborhood of Roanoke, VA. I think Mom is going to start another blog about greening up our home that will have lots of house pics. I'll let you know that blog address as soon as we brainstorm up a good title for it. In the meantime, I am having a BLAST running around in the backyard with Senna and Sprout. The backyard was overgrown with 30 years of brambles, briars, and ivy (including the poison kind). Mom had it all cleared and fenced before we moved in. The girls and I love it! There was old firepit down close to the back perimeter of the fencing. Mom moved all the bricks up to surround this old tree stump. We're going to burn the stump out over a few campfires, roast some marshmallows, and sing some campfire songs. Mom only knows Girl Scout camp songs but those are good with me as long as I'm eating s'mores. Come on over and check it out. Just watch out! I might get you with the sprayer!
