After Bailey's birthday party, Paul, Mom and I loaded up in the car and hit the road bound for Afton, VA and a place called Edible Landscaping.
We walked through many of the greenhouses.
It was a beautiful spring day for a stroll.
I helped Paul pick out some additions for his yard. Mom and I got a dogwood that produces edible fruit - a Chinese dogwood or cornus kousa. Then I found the chickens and ducks. Unfortunately Mom missed pictures of the chicken chasing - outside, through the greenhouses, under the tables, through the grape vineyard, and all over again. She did capture a few good ones of me chasing the ducks.
Happy spring and happy planting!
