With Kool and the Gang's "Oh yes, it's ladies' night and the feelings right. Oh what a night" beboping in our heads, Mom and I went to Ladies Night at Northwest Hardware store. We took advantage of the 25% off our entire purchase (air filters, hydraulic cement, bird proof netting to protect the strawberries on the deck, and a shovel for me!) and were off to a new adventure.
My favorite coffee shop is CUPS. Well, the owner of CUPS opened up a new shop called CUPS A-Go-Go. The new store has a drive-thru window. Get it? The best thing is we live right smack dab in between the two locations. CUPS has a wooden play espresso machine. I love making espressos for Mom.
After Ladies Night, Mom and I got a wild hair and went to CUPS A-Go-Go for dinner. (Please note: We arrived at 6:45 p.m. not realizing they closed at 7 p.m. The staff graciously stayed for us to get a sandwich. THANK YOU!!) Our Sundried Tomato Pesto with Chevre and Mozzarella Pressed on Italian Bread panini was DEEEElicious! While Mom was ordering up our sandwich, I was busy making use of the CUPS A-Go-Go full wooden tea and coffee set preparing a coffee for her. Mom had the audacity to refuse my price of $5. But it was made with SO MUCH LOVE!! See you at the coffee shop!
