I see you.
I'm on a serious mission. I will not be delayed by your intervention.
If you're not going away, then get a move on it. We're heading to the Palisades. Santa is there!
Santa was upstairs. I made a beeline for him, told some ladies nearby Santa that I wanted to talk to Santa, and Santa quickly made a spot for me right beside on him on his bench. I told him what I wanted for Christmas.
Then he told me some special secrets about his elves and how they get all of the work done.
Did you know that the elves make all of Santa's buttons? Santa was showing me the very special one on his hat. I even got to take one home with me. It's very special and it's made from reindeer antlers.
After our chat, Santa wanted a hug. I was happy to oblige. Everyone needs a Santa hug.
Even Paul and Mom. (I took this picture. Pretty good, eh?)
On our way home, we stopped by the playground and whizzed sticks up the slide. If you haven't tried it, it's great fun and highly recommended.
And then Paul taught me how to pull the seeds off of cattails. Who needs sparklers when you can scatter cattail seeds EVERYWHERE!
I've been good and I'm ready for Santa to come tonight. On top of the Santa excitement, I hope, Hope, HOPE to get a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight too!!
I lost my first tooth tonight!!
My tooth is sequestered under my pillow. A yummy Annalisa cookie, a few dried apples, and a hot cup of peppermint mocha with teeny, tiny marshmallows are sitting by the tree for Santa. I'm tucked in and trying to overcome the excitement and submit to sleep. I hope you're tucked in bed too, because Santa Claus AND the Tooth Fairy come tonight!!
