Today marks a milestone in my life. Today was my last day of full-time daycare. In a week and a half, I'll be on my way to kindergarten. I started attending Honeytree when I was 20-months old, almost exactly 4 years ago. Here's a flashback picture for you and a link to my blog post from my first days at Honeytree. Miss Jessica (pictured below) and Mrs. Sue at the Honeytree on 460 were great at getting me adjusted to my new daycare routine back in the day
When I was 2, I moved to the Honeytree near Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Alice, the director, got me up and running in no time.
I have made great friends,
been well fed by Mrs. Karen, and
educated, disciplined, and loved by my favorite teacher, Mrs. Jennifer. I have learned how to say and write all of my ABCs. I can count to 40 lickety-split and can do more if prompted. I know my shapes, colors, can count to 10 in Spanish, can sing you a few nursery rhymes, and
have some great karate moves.
It's so much fun!
Thanks Master Booe for the confidence that you instilled in me.
I officially graduated from pre-K in May.
It was a big day for me and my pre-K buddies.
I had quite the fan club in attendance that evening.
Many thanks to Honeytree for the education, the friendships, and the love. Onward to new adventures!
