An Intro from Mom

On May 12, 2007 closed in the privacy of my bathroom I found out I was pregnant. The weight of knowledge that my life (and most likely my body) would never be the same was overwhelming. I was excited and scared all rolled into one (and still am!)

Thacker will do his best to share with you his adventures. Enjoy!

A Typical Day

Hi all. I've had a busy few days adjusting to this big world and my new perspective of Mom, Dad and my furry sisters, Senna and Sprout. We're all doing great! Mom has only shed a few tears with me while I was crying. I don't understand why she can't decipher the difference between "Waaaahhhh" and "WaaWaaWaa". Isn't it obvious what I need? We'll get it all figured out soon. Senna and Sprout run screaming through the house as usual playing with all of their new Christmas toys and I keep on sleeping. I've had 40 weeks to get used to their craziness. Dad and I enjoy chillin' watching races and snoozing.

I thought I'd send along a couple of pics from my day today. We walked the dogs around the yard this morning. It's quite blustery here today so Mom has me bundled up. I love being outside. I get really still and quiet listening carefully to take it all in. I'll open my eyes and check out the visuals later. I don't want to induce sensory overload.

This afternoon Mom tried out the Ergo Baby carrier. With her cesarian section incision, she had to wait a while to try this out. Here I am looking like a baby burrito. I loved it. I zonked out for two hours while Mom recycled, did laundry, and tidied up the house. I woke up hungry from doing all of those chores.
