An Intro from Mom

On May 12, 2007 closed in the privacy of my bathroom I found out I was pregnant. The weight of knowledge that my life (and most likely my body) would never be the same was overwhelming. I was excited and scared all rolled into one (and still am!)

Thacker will do his best to share with you his adventures. Enjoy!

Home School

It's that time of year again - school is back in session. After my history lesson on Sunday, Mom thought we could cover a little biology today. We started with a recap of a topic I started on last winter.
Can you see me?
How about now? I think I've got this camouflage thing down now. My new recliner was delivered today and was the perfect opportunity to recap on camouflage.
Dad wanted to cover some physics with me tonight. I'm poised for my lesson. I think I'm getting it. Speed! (I'm zipping down the straight now!) Mass! (I'm massive!) Kinetic Energy! (Transferring it to the shifter...) Velocity! (I'm all over it!) After displacing all my energy on the back stretch, I needed a moment to think about that inertia principle - something about a body at rest stays at rest. This home school thing can be exhausting.
