An Intro from Mom

On May 12, 2007 closed in the privacy of my bathroom I found out I was pregnant. The weight of knowledge that my life (and most likely my body) would never be the same was overwhelming. I was excited and scared all rolled into one (and still am!)

Thacker will do his best to share with you his adventures. Enjoy!

Crossed Over the Delaware

Mom and I arrived at Annalisa and Stefan's house in Wilmington, Delaware around 7:30 last Thursday night. They waited to have dinner with us but I ate a whole pile of Annie's bunny crackers from 6:15 to 6:45 while we were cruisin' on 695N around Baltimore and then onto 95N for the rest to the trip. I had a nibble but Mom really enjoyed the Mexican food. I made myself at home on the wine rack with my drink. On Friday, we went to a fancy nursery to pick up a passion flower for Annie and had lunch. Mom had packed my lunch but she and Annie had a falafel burger and arugula salad. I had a little nibble and it was yummy! Afterwards we stopped at the Orchard so Annie could pick up a few things and I could see the animals. These chickens were talking to me.

Of course I had to check out the wheels. I climbed up here and grabbed on to the handle all by myself. I just needed to find a good hill.

I had fun clowning around at Annie and Stefan's house - sporting some cool 3D glasses, doing some stair-climbing, torturing poor Saabina (their mini-schnauzer) by just being there, looking for the cats (they're up here somewhere...), and rocking in Grandma's chair. On Saturday, we went for a stroll around the neighborhood, I took a power nap, and then we had dinner at Iron Hill Brewery. After all that activity, Mom thought I should take a bath! I'm always up for some splish-splashin'.

We headed home on Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. After a few stops to stretch our legs and fuel up (both us and the car), we picked up Senna and Sprout from puppy camp and headed home. We've unpacked but I'm ready to go again. I've got my pjs and bibs packed. What else do I need?
