Overflow
Mom and I decided it was time to replace our 1970 toilet that just about flushed the equivalent capacity of a swimming pool every time we flushed it. You can only let the yellow mellow for so long, and of course the brown must go down, so flush we did. After calling to get an estimate for a local plumber to install it, I had to scoop Mom's jaw back up off the floor. Then she remembered that she already had an experienced plumber living with her - me! I brushed up on the basics, did a successful install of a new toilet at Paul's house,
and got to work installing a new toilet at our house. Woohoo!! It's a glorious 1.6 gallon per flush and we love the super slick bowl finish.
Clogged Flow
For a moment this past Saturday we thought Punxsutawney Phil may have uttered a truth. I took advantage of the sunshine and warmer temps to cruise the sidewalk on my bike and clean out the gutters.
Don't worry. Paul did the back side of our house with the two-story drop. I calculated that I earned $39 while working on the front gutters.
Despite having my writing flow back, this blog-thing is not paying much. Let me know if you need your gutters cleaned. I'm saving up for more Legos.
