Some days my gums and teeth really hurt. 
Most of the time, I'm a drooling happy dude! I'm proud to tell you that I've got two bottom teeth and four upper teeth. I'll be chomping through some carrots before you know it!

- Ever adjusting to the glorious unpredictablity of being a mom, home owner, employee, and business owner, life could not be more wonderfully full. Through my posts, you will learn much about my life these days but to fill in a few details, I am working from my home office doing administrative and green building consulting and design work. My friends and colleagues tell me to write so I'm here sharing a few snippets of my observations on life. I am an optimistic realist - eating my favorite foods (dark chocolate and cheese) while strength training and walking to stave off postmenopausal weight gain, keeping up the house, volunteering within my professional organizations, as a Virginia Master Naturalist and in support of my son's activities, and forever adding to and marking through my to do list. Any of it can be dropped for a good book, a nap, or hike with my son and husband.
