In preparation for our Atlanta adventure in mid-July, Mom and I set up camp in the backyard last Saturday night. On advice from the web, Mom and I didn't crawl in the tent until about 9:30 (an hour and half after my bedtime). The idea was that I would be so tired, I would simply crawl in and go to sleep. Well...playing with a flashlight is LOTS of fun at night!
It's in my hand and I'm mesmerized by the light.
And the bedtime story (the book upon which I'm sitting) just got me more excited!! After literally bouncing off the walls and any squishy surface available on the tent floor (yes, this includes Mom), I gave up and zonked out at 11 p.m. No worries though I was up by 6 a.m. to see the first morning rays of sun and hear the birds chirping. Cheep! Cheep! (one of the many words in my repertoire)
I don't know why Mom made me take two naps on Sunday.
