I got so excited about summer officially starting on the summer solstice that I forgot to take my 18-month old pic with my apple (for scale) and I almost forgot to take a picture this month too! I remembered today and struck a few poses before I headed out to Mrs. Leah's this morning.
The dog kennel is still one of my favorite spots...
with the extra benefit of keeping my apple safe from Mom and the dogs!
BTW my 18 month old checkup was on June 30th. I weighed in at 23 pounds 9 ounces and stretched to just over 2-1/2' feet for a grand total of 31". I'm big enough to climb Dukes of Hazard style into Dad's racecars, climb on all the furniture but the beds, and just reach some things on the edge of the countertops in the kitchen. I'm also working on my vocabulary. Here are some of the words I know: good girls (my first word(s) - a reference to my puppy dogs), Dad, Mom, yes, no, car, dump truck, cheese, bowl, treat, eat, more, night night, please and thank you. I know sign language for eat, more, please and thank you. I use the sign for please often when I'm hungry or want to play with my cars.
