I'm so glad you sat down across from me and could join me for a few organic grapes, some organic cheese, and some local apple juice. I have a story to tell you about this morning.
Let me take one more bite and I'll get started (please notice the hair).
I got up this morning and started my normal routine of playing and watching a movie. This morning I picked Thomas & Friends. After a while I started to get hungry and asked Mom for some bread and milk (I'm loving this yummy pumpkin nut bread Gammaw brought to us). For some reason this morning, Mom said she couldn't give me any. Still not convinced "no" meant "no", I asked again with a little more volume. Then Mom gave me a surprise - Gordon, the big freight engine from Thomas & Friends! That kept my interest for a while until hunger struck again. The next time I asked for bread and milk, I got a book about Gordon! Hmmmm.... The book was good. It inspired me to play with my trains for a bit and then
...you guessed it...HUNGER. This time I was craving grapes. I pleaded with Mom to no avail. She kept insisting she was sorry, and it was because we were going to a special doctor's appointment.
Soon Paul, Mom and I were loaded into the car to go to the special doctor's appointment. We checked in, I greeted Dad with a big hug (he came to my special doctor's appointment too!), I got changed into this funny little tiger get-up with a couple of string ties on the back, Mom held me in her lap while the doctor held some tube in front of my face that he said smelled like monkey perfume (for the record it was STINKY), and the next thing you know I was waking up on a bed looking at Mom and Dad. Hmmmm....I was very quiet and napped while Mom held me for a bit; then I wanted to go home.
We loaded up, headed home, and I headed straight for my bed. For some reason, I was wiped out. I slept for about three hours, woke up, and here I sit with this crazy hair. Mom said something about my adenoids being taken out. All I know is that Noid messed up my hair.
I dreamed about that Noid while I was napping. In my dream,
I gave him the elbow, we wrestled,
I escaped with this super cool Sponge Bob bandaid, and he...well, let's just say he's no longer with us. Safely speaking from the other side of my scuffle and a long recovery nap, my advice to you...avoid the Noid.
After a crazy start to my day, I spent the rest of the day playing in the backyard with the girls, going for a red wagon ride with Mom and the girls, eating some yummy mac 'n' cheese, broccoli, and cauliflower, and playing with my Thomas trains. After a Motrin-aided solid night of sleep, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's adventure!
